- Sheets charts and conditional formatting aren't saved into .xlsx

- Docs can't open .doc or .rtf files, only .docx

Is NEXA Office really free?
Yes. Docs, Sheets and Slides are free to use with no sign-up. See the pricing page for what is planned in future.
Where are my files stored?
In your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to our server. Use Download backup on the home page, or export .docx, .xlsx and .pptx copies, so you always have a copy of important work.
Will my files open in Word, Excel and PowerPoint?
NEXA Office saves standard Office Open XML files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx). We've checked them with LibreOffice and open-source readers, but haven't tested every version of Microsoft Office. If something looks off, tell us.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Open it once while online, install it from your browser, and it keeps working without a connection.
Can I work with other people on the same file?
Not live. You can export a file and send it. Real-time collaboration isn't part of NEXA Office today.
What does the AI helper do, and does it cost anything?
It's optional and off by default. You connect your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint under NexaAI settings, and any usage costs come from that provider, not from NEXA Office.
Which browsers and devices work?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on PC, Mac, Android and iPhone. Installing as an app works best in Chrome and Edge.
